Been busy, busy, busy 'round here again!
Not long till our market debut (28th November at the Mulgrave Makers Market), so there's lots of creating happening around here!
I got my hands on some beautiful magenta and deep Aqua fabrics for our flower brooches/hairclips so here are some of the designs..
Also, our packaging boxes have finally arrived! Here's what our flowers look like inside the boxes..

Fancy Packaging
Our friends' daughter recently had a birthday and I purchased a T-shirt for her. I wanted to pack it nicely, so I thought of putting it into a clear plastic cube box.
I folded the shirt to create a rectangle, which I then rolled into a tube. I placed this inside the box and put tissue paper in the middle to help it hold shape. I popped one of the TOMNI design flower hair clips on top of the shirt and put raffia around the box to hold it all together. I was really pleased with the result!

Poppy pins
Here's some of the new flower hairclips and brooches by TOMNI Design - this lot was delivered to our shop space at the Up Markets store in Lorne last weekend:
Each of these small hairclips is made from five layers of fabric that have been shaped using heat. Here's a view from a different angle of one of the hairclips:
And here's some of the Brooch/hairclip designs:
We also added some more fabric covered Magnets to the Lorne shop:
If you're interested in purchasing any of our items, please email us via the 'contact us' link in the TOMNI Design Scrapbooking shop.

These magnets are Super Strong and each magnet can hold at least 10 sheets of A4 paper! So no more notices and bills sliding off the fridge!

Red Poppies
Lately I've been creating some fabric flowers to add to the Handmade shop.
I've been experimenting with different fabrics and colours and today I was able to stock up on some more supplies. I'm impatiently waiting for some quiet time to make some more flowers!
I'll add these to the shop soon, but for now here are some pics of the red poppy brooch / hair pin
and necklace that are already 'sitting' in the etsy store.
